This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Outstanding Vietnamese Pho Experience! This is hands down one of the best bowls of pho I've had in a long time. The broth is the true star—rich, deep, and full of flavor, yet incredibly clean and not greasy at all. You can tell it has been simmered for hours with great care. Every sip is comforting and satisfying. I also love that the pho is served in a double-wall stainless steel bowl, which keeps the soup piping hot from the first bite to the last. It's such a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience even better. The fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and onions were crisp and vibrant, and the beef was tender and delicious. But what really impressed me was their house-made chili sauce—it's packed with flavor, perfectly spicy, and takes the pho to another level. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese pho with exceptional broth, excellent presentation, and attention to detail, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended! 🍜🔥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped in after a salon appointment in Albany and found this to be a slightly more polished version of your typical Bay Area pho spot. Food: The fresh spring rolls (gỏi cuốn) were fresh and well-prepared. Peanut sauce was good, nothing standout, but definitely enjoyable. I ordered the bún bò Huế, which included traditional congealed pork blood (huyết), always a plus for authenticity. The broth had good depth of flavor, but it lacked the expected spice. This dish should have a bit of heat, and that was missing. The side veggies leaned heavily on bean sprouts (very typical here), but I would’ve preferred more shredded cabbage for balance. Drinks: Vietnamese iced coffee came out almost immediately, so it’s clearly pre-made. Efficient, but you do miss the traditional drip experience. Service & Atmosphere: Service is very fast, everything came out within minutes. After that, it’s pretty hands-off, so you’ll need to flag someone down if you need anything. The space itself is nicer than most pho spots, and the uniformed staff gives it a slightly more put-together feel. Overall: Good food, very quick service, and a clean, comfortable space. Not exceptional, but a solid, reliable op

Overall great spot for Vietnamese food. Fresh and delicious. I like how they have a small bowl of broth on the side for their rice plates. It's a perfect pairing. The spring rolls are on point as well.

Pho family favorite! Every time we are in town we come straight to this place. Staff are so family friendly. Food has been amazing for the past 6 years; never disappoints! My go to is their Pho Chin, Nam, Ve Don which is Well-done brisket, well-done flank, and crunchy flank with extra lime squeezed. Everything is so fresh and homemade is at their best! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
